Conceptualised & developed whilst working in-house for London based design studio j-me.
Involved in all stages of design process including research, feasibility, prototyping, 2D graphic development, production CAD & manufacturer liaison. Also developed animation, literature & web content for marketing purposes.
Since it's functional decline in favour of CD's & MP3's, the cassette tape has become an icon of retro & vintage culture, which is why this product has proved a huge commercial success for j-me. In 2008 it was awarded 'gift of the year - highly commended' & has been sold across the globe & among others, to major retailers such as Selfridges.
